FC24 with EA app does not detect the gamepad

First of all, thank you for a great job in fixing this tool.

As the title explains, FC24 does not recognize my gamepad when using EA app.

The controller I use is an Xbox One controller connected to my Nvidia Shield which in turn streams the game with Steam Link/Big Picture.

As a workaround I can use Origin together with OriginSteamOverlayLauncher. That works without problems. However I still want to use the EA app to be able to play online as this is limited on Origin now days.

Any idea how to get this working with the EA app and OriginSteamOverlayLauncher?
