Hi,

I am running Harbor Version v2.12.0-9da38ae0 in Docker, on Ubuntu 22.04.

I want to connect to Trivy server, running the binary 0.56.1, on another Ubuntu server.

I can get to the url eg http://10.1.0.225:4954/healthz from my browser, but in the scanner window, Trivy says:

Ping: registration trivy 2:http://10.1.0.225:4954/ is unreachable

I am maybe guessing because the Docker container runs on a subnet different to the above, so it doesn't have access?

Hi,

Are you running trivy with trivy adapter? Please be reminded that Harbor does not work with trivy without the adapter:

Hi,
In scanners I see a default scanner of trivy-adapter:8080 which is operational, however?

Is this not installed by default and if so, is there a docker container?

Just to add, I installed Harbor as per the instruction and yesterday Trivy on another server, but not the adapter anywhere...

if you are using the offline installer you'll need to "--with-trivy" parameter:

./install.sh --with-trivy

Then the trivy scanner will be installed automatically along with Harbor on the same host.
