iOS the keyboard covers the WYSIWYG toolbar

Hello Laurent and everyone. I have an issue that I’m not sure where it comes from. It may be a bug, or it could be me. I find that the keyboard on my iPhone 16 pro max covers the toolbar. I’m not sure what is happening.

Any ideas?

Hi,
In settings > note, is there a "remove extra space below the Markdown toolbar" setting? If so, does disabling the setting help?

Hmm no not seeing that setting. Am I blind?

Thanks for the information! That setting should only be present if Joplin enabled a workaround that changes the position of the Markdown toolbar.

Development notes:

• One possible fix for this issue might be to extend the existing workaround (see iOS: Fixes #11711: Fix Markdown toolbar is partially covered by the keyboard #11762), but include cases for devices with different notch sizes.
• This seems to be the upstream React Native issue. It's marked as "resolved" -- checking the comments in the issue might suggest a different way to fix the issue.

Thanks. I’ll wait for a fix. It isn’t the end of the world because the toolbar is half visibile.
